All based at The School Room Marston Church near Derby, Great access, parking, male and female toilets, fully stocked kitchen. Hot and Cold refreshments and snacks provided throughout the course.




This qualification is intended to provide the skills and knowledge required to support your Level 3 Practitioner in the delivery of safe and effective Forest School programmes.

The qualification is composed of two units.
Delivery
Topics include:
Supporting a Forest School Programme: Learning and Development - Understanding how Forest School and Forest School experiences can support learning and development and being able to perform the role of a Forest School Assistant.
Supporting a Forest School Programme: Practical Skills - Sustainable woodland management, risk assessment and carrying out practical task such as using tools, erecting shelters and safe fire siting at Forest School.
Assessment tasks will result in each candidate producing a portfolio of evidence meeting each assessment criteria in each unit.

Attendance at an event at an approved ITC Centre
54 guided learning hours
Assessed by a portfolio of evidence generated by Centre devised assessment tasks
Successful completion will lead to the candidate gaining an ITC Level 2 Award for Forest School Assistants
