A 5 day course for a maximum of 8 learners with an interest in Green Social Prescribing. (There is no prerequisite to attend).

Venue: The Bosk, Burnaston, Derby
Please be prepared for all weathers and wear good hard wearing shoes or boots, these will be more comfortable than wellies.
We are an OFFGRID site with rain cover areas and a Mongolian Yurt classroom with a gas heater. You will spend a lot of time around an open fire so please be prepared to smell of smoke (so will your clothes) :) There is running water for handwashing via a foot pump and plenty of hand sanitiser around the site. Our toilet is a hygienic sawdust compost loo.

We shall provide snacks, hot and cold drinks every day. Please bring a packed lunch with you.
Course includes:
Level 3 Learning Beyond the Classroom Ofqual Qualification Awarded by ITC First and Accredited by the IOL (requires a portfolio submission)
Mental Health First Aid Certificated by ITC First
Bushcraft & Green Wood Working Skills Competencies (informally assessed and certificated)
All adapted to meet the needs of the Green Social Prescribing Initiative

There are options to attend an Emergency First Aid at Work course should learners not already have this qualification (recommended). Fee applies
